Description: A sweet dish made with sugar and pureed carrots.
Preparation Time: 25 mins
INGREDIENTS:MAIN:
Fresh carrots(grated) – 2 big
Milk – 1 ½ cups
Sugar – 1 ½ to 2 cups
Ghee(Clarified Butter) – 3 tablespoons
FOR GARNISHING:
Pistachio(crushed) – 1 tablespoon
Cashewnuts – 15
Slivered Almonds – 2 tablespoons
Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon
PREPARATION METHOD:
1.Heat the ghee(clarified butter) in a pan, saute the grated carrots for few minutes and add milk and allow the carrots to cook till almost dry.
2.Then add the sugar and keep stirring it till it begins to leave the sides of the pan, coming together.
3.Remove from the fire and spread on a greased plate.4.Allow it to cool a little,then garnish with pista,slivered almonds, cashewnuts and cardamom powder.
5.Serve hot or cold.
