Fresh Mint Raitha

Description: A cool dish combining yogurt and fresh mint.
Preparation Time: 15 mins

INGREDIENTS: MAIN:

Fresh Mint Leaves – 2 hand fulls
Sweet curd – 1½ cups
Grated fresh coconut – 3 tablespoons
Green Chilli – 1(finely cut)
Sugar – ½ teaspoon
Salt – to taste

FOR SEASONING:

Coconut oil – 2 teaspoons
Mustardseeds – ½ teaspoon
Blackgram dal – ½ teaspoon
Red Chilli – 1 small

PREPARATION METHOD:

1.Grind the coconut,mint leaves,green chilli and sugar to a fine paste.
2.Beat the curds lightly,add the ground paste and salt.
3.Heat the oil and add mustard seeds,when it starts to crackle, add the blackgram dal and red chilli.
4.When the blackgram dal is golden brown, add to the curd mixture and mix thoroughly.
